Oyster Bay Railroad
The Oyster Bay Railroad is a small TRS19 seaside industrial model railroad. The layout is a merging of both the Loleta & Mad River and the Chesapeake Harbor Belt track plans by Iain Rice with some modifications to connect the two. It has both a small fishing port on the west end (Loleta & Mad River) and a shipping port on the east end (Chesapeake Harbor Belt). The fishing port showcases many boats created by user pat9149 (many thanks to them and the many other creators who contribute to our collective obsession known as trainz).
The route has several interconnected industries: fish cannery and fish wholesaler, scrap dealer, steel manufacturer and appliance manufacturer, a brewery and a couple others. They all use BI3 Basic Industry tracks from MSGSapper.
To help locate and identify the industries, I have provided markers which appear in surveyor mode which list the name of that area, an area abbreviation, and the industries located there. (There are four and they are located on the fascia around the layout edge). The abbreviations are used in the key below which summarizes the industries and how they connect. Please refer to the key below for what industries load or unload what products.

I have included rolling stock configured to handle the various loads. Also included are two locomotives decorated for the Chesapeake Harbor Belt (made by CincySouthernRwy). One is a GE 44-ton Switcher and the other an EMD SW-7 switcher. There are several others on the DLS as well. Also included is a 50 ton whitcomb switcher (made by bear_ludd and reskinned by ekankal). There are two others which would work as well on the DLS for those interested.
Fun Additional Things to Do:
There are two driveable tugboats in the east end of Oyster Bay. They travel through the bay and have turntables on the west end just past the light house. In the middle bay of Oyster Bay they each have a switch to re-enter the east end via a loop around the outside of that bay. Thank you to arraial and vulcan for the tugs.
You can also go fishing with Old Ebb and Eddie and take a water level tour of the bay at the same time. They usually fish near Alain's located on the center bay of Oyster Bay. A special thank you to Dave Snow for creating so many items for trainz, including this excellent fishing boat.
There is also a driveable 1963 Volkswagen Beetle (look for the gathering of VW enthusiasts near the bridge in the middle of the route). It drives out to the east end, across the bridge on that end then out to the South Fishing Port and back. You
