NYC RS2

The ALCO RS-2 was made from 1946-1950, 403 made in 3 versions A, B, and C. The A and B had 1500hp engines and the C had 1600hp, a lot got updated to 1600. It came with or without passenger heating and in high speed or low. The ALCO RS-3 looks almost the same but the RS-2 has the fuel cap and gauge on the cab side and no long battery on the running boards behind the cab. This is NYC class DRSP-2C set for 75mph with steam heat. Note that it has an odd pumper over the couplers that the NYC used.
