CN 7700

CN 7700

CN switcher 7700, 400hp, max. speed 40mph. 70ton. Built in 1929 by the Canadian Lpcomotive Works (Westinghouse) but did not go into service untell May, 1930( CN added things and moved the bell?). First CN oil-electric(diesel) switcher. Repowered in 1953 with a Caterpillar diesel also renumberd to 77 and re-classifed LS-4a from it's old Q-21 a. last know in the Canadian Railroad Museum. This is how it looked as 7700.
