In 1929 Canadian Pacific Railway got 7,500 box cars of a then new design that looks like the 1932 ARA standard but has an interior of only 8ft7in and a door 5ft wide. The car also had a Murphy radial roof and odd Dreadnaught ends. In 1967 6,400 where in service and in 1972 over 1,800. This car has season snow, Numberit, and CMTM.
