Pennsylvania Railroad Parlor Car Newark. The Newark was a 26 chair car with 1 drawing room. Cars such as this were typical on 'name' or 'varnish' trains, but were gradually phased out as passenger revenue dropped both prior and after WWII, and replaced with coaches.
