CN 12-1 Sleeper

Canadian National Pullman 12-1 Sleeper. By far the most popular model of sleeping car that Pullman produced, over 920 were produced. It provided accomodations in 12 'sections', an open area with seats by day which was converted to upper and lower berths at night, and one drawing room, which was an enclosed room with a couch opposite a seating section. At night the seats became upper and lower berths, and the couch converted into a bed. One of the additional features of the drawing room was its private bathroom.

As far as I've been able to ascertain, the names I've included are prototypical for CN 12-1 Pullman sleepers, with the possible exception of the John Jacob Astor, which supposedly was an 8-1-2. However, CN often converted 12-1 sleepers to an 8-1-2 arrangement, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that this might have been a 12-1 at some point in its career
