Progressive Rail Jesse James - CMTM Workshop - Session 1 - Your first car

Welcome to your first CMTM in deep-dive creation session!

In this scenario we simulate that we get an order to take one empty car from our car storage pool and bring it to an industy where it get loaded. After it has been loaded, it can be taken off-route.
This routing will be done using the CMTM4 system.

In this session we will look into the session design relevant settings. Additionally the CMTM4 system uses a database but details of this will be discussed in the forum.


In this session we have:

Trackmarks:
- one place to store empty cars. Here also we can assign orders to them. Trackmark ECS-EB
- one Industry to load the car, trackmark Manion.

CMTM4 Portals:
- Off-route location via Westbound Portal 2, called PortalWB2 for short.*

Rolling stock:
- one car of fitting type - box car - type XBG, reportingmark FOX
- one engine of course

Session rules:
- CMTM4System4 Install Rule that contains the link to the database file
- Driver command rule to activate Navigate to Trackmark and Navigate via trackmark - commands
- Additional standard session rules that are not CMTM system specific.

Others:
- the database file


* naming convention is limiting functionality. However, for this session we will pretend the name is PortalWB2 which should work for the purpose of this session
