With the Mountain Subdivision seeing over 30 trains per day and up to 15 trains passing through the yard at Golden itself, the busiest point on CP rail's network keeps many crews busy. Signalling should keep things safe on the main line, but over the 'dark territory' of the Windermere Sub, careful co-operation is essential to keep things running smoothly.
