The BB9200 was built in 1957, also called Jacquemin because Andre Jacquemin was the man who has created transmission drive system on these locos...
These locos are now used for freight consist but this was, with the Capitole between Paris and Toulouse, the first commercial consist in France to run over 200 km/h in 1960. This model is this one.
La BB9200 est nee en 1957; aussi appelee avec les locos issues de la meme serie, Jacquemin du nom de l'ingenieur qui lui donna son systeme de transmission. C'est avec le Capitole en 1960 que le premier convoi commercial français franchissait la barre des 200km/h tracte par une BB9200.
Ce modele est celle qui tractait ce fameux express jusqu'a Toulouse..
