Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, assets demo / WIP
This route started as a sand box to test (and make thumbs of) a bunch of my naval base related bunkers and structures.
A lot of the assets I was creating are found on 'Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach', found near Long Beach (California, US). It slowly turned into something that looks like a real route.
About this naval facility:
With the official closure of Concord Naval Weapons Center in northern California, Seal Beach is now the Navy's primary munitions storage and loading facility on the West Coast (with the exception of submarine activities, which take place in Washington State). About 100 ships are loaded and unloaded here every year, either at the wharf on the edge of the base, or at sea, with weapons transported by barge and helicopter. The 5,000 acre base was established in 1944, and contains 127 earthen munitions storage magazines, all of which are in use.

My changing interests and lack of time made me put this project and route on hold. Even though the route is far from finished and by far not at the quality a few of the bigger route artists out there produce, I am sure some will get joy or inspiration out of it so decided to upload it. Plus it still is a lot better than the blank baseboards that people upload nowadays ;-)
If people would like to finish this route or use it as part of your own:
Feel free to do so as long as you mention me in the description.
