WVRR No. DE-3 'Sampson'

WVRR was never one to underestimate the power of new technology. With the success of retrofitting diesel motors into several of its McKeen cars, the WVRR shortly bought a new GE 50-ton diesel electric boxcab. The machine was named Sampson for its great power compared to its size.
