Skarloey Railway No. 4 'Peter Sam' - No Face, 1950s

Skarloey No. 4 is a Kerr Stuart 'Tattoo' Class bought secondhand from the Mid Sodor Rly. along with No. 3 'Sir Handel.' The engine was built in 1921 and aquired by the Skarloey in 1951, being named after the former manager at that time. He entered service in 1952 and became the only Sudrian engine to be fitted with a Giesl ejector, which he then kept until the early 70's.
