It's the end of a long hot summer on the Main South and Oaklands Branch.
There's over 500km of Standard Gauge and 300 kms of Broad Gauge main line to drive. The route runs from Seymour in Victoria to Bethungra in NSW. The ARTC Standard Gauge is set in the late 90's early 2000's, while the Broad Gauge VR North East is set in the late 70's early 80's. The Oaklands branch is set in the 1980s

This route is part of the Main South routes group and will merge with Bethungra Spiral by Tomtre at the northern end, right through to Picton and the Illawarra. VR Goulburn Murray lines can be merged at the southern end on the line branching from Mangalore.
