Sugar mill 01 Steffens

Process building known locally as the Steffens House, is a part of the sugar beet mill at Longmont, Colorado. This is where the food additive, mono sodium glutamate (MSG) was made from sugar beet extracts.

To aid placement of the sugar mill assets, use the aerial photo overlay (kuid2:68213:27000:1) and the labelled diagram included within that asset's folder. My thanks to Jim Deplitch for the photos and background information.
