Werris Creek to Wallangarra Qld - 380 Km of the Main North once known as the Great Northern Railway which closed north of Armidale in the 1970's.. Barraba branch runs for around 100Km NW from West Tamworth via Attunga & Manilla was closed around 1987. The route also includes a small section of the Guyra - Dorrigo line which was never completed.

Track infrastructure is based on the CRN North Track & Signal index and NSW Curve & Gradient diagrams.
