Signal Link Session

Updated version, June 2012. The Signal Link asset is now on the Download Station.

When AI trains and a Player train run on a single track route with crossing loops, a Mexican Standoff can occur when the Player train tries to enter a crossing loop with one track already occupied by an AI train travelling in the opposite direction.

The Signal Link Route and the Signal Link Session demonstrate how this can be avoided.

Using the Signal Link, the Player train can prevent an AI train locking the facing point to the crossing loop.
