The layout is a small switching yard serving several factories and manufacturing plants. Fiddle yards are located at both ends.

The layout should appeal to those who like driving diesel and steam locomotives in either Cab or DCC mode, those who enjoy challenging switching operations in a relatively confined but realistically portrayed environment, those who like interactive industries and freight cars, and those who like playing with model trains.

Despite the high level of detail, frame rates will be good, even on mid range computers.
