Clear Lake NG Logging - Model Trainz Layout is a one baseboard narrow-gauge logging model trainz layout.

All the dependencies for this layout are either built-in or on the Download Station. Use Manage Content to make sure all dependnecies have been captured.

I owe a debt of gratitude to Rich Blake (Slugsmasher) for granting permission to upload this route to the Download Station. The track layout, terra-forming, textures, building placement and all the other hard work was done by Rich when he created this classic miniature masterpiece more than a decade ago.

When I purchased TRS2004, Clear Lake was one of my favourite routes and, with the release of the T:ANE SP1, I have taken the opportunity to bring it up to T:ANE standards. This includes replacing the original track with procedural track and replacing the trees and vegetation with modern equivalents. In this latter task I was helped by ARhian7. His help was invaluable. I have also made some very minor modifications to the track work, and added interactive industries and some structures.

The final step was to convert the route into a model trainz layout.

One again I'd like to thank Slugsmasher -- I was but the pygmy that stood on his shoulders. And, of course, a thanks to all the talented individuals who created the content that made this all possible.

Note -- because of the lack of suitable 3ft gauge track, tresses and trusses, this version of the layout uses 3ft6in (42inch) gauge track. An updated version will be released if and when suitable 3ft track and rail structures become avaiable.
