The Yuan Gulch RRCo - NG - Special Request

This route is in response to a Special Request for a version of the original Yuan Gulch model railroad layout. This version is a one-tile Trainz route and NOT a model railroad.

Welcome to the desert world of Yuan Gulch. Yuan Gulch is located … , well, where it is dry and dusty with cactus, rocks and stones. Where the wind always blows and it seldom rains. Where there is always sand in the hair and grit in the mouth.

The route is for T:ANE. All the dependencies for the route are either built-in or on the Download Station. Use Manage Content to make sure all dependencies have been captured.

The Yuan Gulch is a one-tile trainz route. The railroad links the small port town of Yuan Gulch with three mines and a logging camp.

The three mines combined to construct a mill and bagging plant in the town for ore processing. A small sawmill is located just outside the town.

Nearby and accessed by a switchback is a dock, with a loading wharf and bulk barge loader.

Traffic flows include
Logs from the logging site to the dry sort yard, log dump, steamship wharf, dock wharf and sawmill.
Logs from the dry sort yard to the sawmill.
Lumber from the sawmill to the steamship wharf and dock wharf.
Ore from the mine to the mill with bagged ore from the mill to the steamship wharf.
Tailings and low grade ore to the barge loader.
Plant, equipment and supplies from Yuan to the mines and logging camp.
