Inglenook Industrial - Session 1 One and Only

This session is for Inglenook Industrial - Model Trainz Layout. All the required dependencies are either built-in or from the Download Station.

In the folder containing the layout (use Manage Content to view it) you will find a map of the layout showing the location of the industries. The same map is also in my thread in the N3V Trainz Forums. Search the Forums for Inglenook.

The switches have been configured so that the switch is in the straight through position when the switch stand target disk is side on. Help (the red/green indicators at switches) has been set to off. To toggle Help on/off, press Ctrl-H.

All movements can be made as switching movements, with the locomotive at either the head or the rear of the train. The locomotive must not be placed in the middle of the consist.

The only industry that has been configured is the Rotary Dumper.

The User rules menu / QuickDrive (top right) allows the control type and environment to be changed. This includes selecting Realistic or Easy Control, the weather, and setting the time of day. I would encourage you to use Realistic Control.

Mouse click on a locomotive to take control of it. Use the Map View (Ctrl-M toggles on/off) to see the names of the industries.

There is no scoring or evaluation. It is up to you to evaluate your own performance.

Chuck and Joe, welcome to my evening operating session on Inglenook.
I have placed a consist in the Fiddle Yard, spotted locomotives in the roundhouse and extra freight cars around the layout and placed extra freight cars in the Fiddle Yard.
I think you will find all that you need, but do feel free to add extra items from the Rolling Stock flyout storage area if you so desire.
I have to step out for a while.
If you look at the map or just look at the layout I am sure you will both quickly work out what commodities go where.
I suggest you begin without me. Drive the SP consist from Fiddle to the station, uncouple and stable the locomotive in AI Spur, transfer to the Alco idling in the Switcher Spur and deliver the freight cars to the appropriate locations.
Muster up the cars into a consist, spot at the station and haul them back to Fiddle with the SP locomotive.
Then it is all up to your imagination. Add freight cars and make up consists in Fiddle. Deliver commodities. Take empty and loaded cars back to Fiddle. Continue.
