The Cilie Oldphartz Logging Railroad - NG Model Trainz Layout

A green, pleasant and welcoming logging railroad version of the harsh and desolate mining railroad layout with a similar name.

The Cilie Oldphartz Logging Railroad Company is a narrow-gauge model railroad for T:ANE. All the dependencies for the layout are either built-in or on the Download Station. Use Manage Content to make sure all dependencies have been captured.

The railroad was originally constructed to link the log camp at Cilie with the small port town of Oldphartz. Later the mine at Cnile and the log camp at Stoopid were connected, giving the Cilie, Cnile, Stoopid Oldphartz Railroad – the Cilie Oldphartz for short. Oldphartz has a saw mill, workshop, locomotive facilities, a steamship wharf and a railroad ferry barge that links the town to the mainland.

The railroad now also serves a log dump, a dry sort log yard and a stock yard.

Traffic flows include
Ore from the mine in hopper cars to the ferry.
Logs from the logging camps to the log dump, dry sort yard, saw mill and ferry.
Logs from the dry sort yard to the saw mill and ferry.
Lumber from the saw mill to the ferry.
Livestock from the stock yard to the ferry, and bales of hay to the stock yards.
Plant, equipment and supplies from the ferry and steamship wharf to the mine and logging camps.
