The Mann, Phrom, Larramee - Desert - Session 1

Session 1 – Rio Grande 2-8-8-2

This session is for The Mann, Phrom, Laramee – Desert railroad. All the required content is either built-in or from the Download Station.

You will be driving a DRGW USRA 2-8-8-2 Mallet locomotive.

Good morning Chuck, good morning Joe.
The depot crew has prepared your USRA Mallet. You will find it over near the water tank.
You will be taking the 10:05 Heavy westbound freight out of Laramee. Total weight is around 900 tons.
At the Mann Mine pick up the two loaded hopper cars. This will increase your load to over 1,000 tons.
At your destination leave the freight cars in the yard, apart from the two hoppers.
Spot the hoppers on the barge ferry.
Leave the locomotive in the roundhouse and then sign off.
Remember the speed limit in yard areas is 15 mph. Otherwise 40 mph except on the sharper curves where it is 35 mph.

This session may take 30 to 50 minutes to complete.
