Session 3 – Smoke belching Alco RSD-5

The session is for The Mann, Phrom, Laramee – Woodlands railroad. All the required content is either built-in or from the Download Station.

You have been given a smoke belching, rusty, dilapidated Alco RSD-5 that has certainly seen better days.

Chuck, Joe, an early start this fine morning.
Your Alco RSD is waiting in the roundhouse. It dont look the best but it has been ultra reliable and dependable.
I would like you to round up the box cars, flat cars and the tank car you delivered yesterday to the mine and the two log camps.
When you get back here with those cars, just spot them in the yard. The Yard Master will tell you where.
Also, the mine is doing a major electrical upgrade. Leave for unloading at the mine the two cars on the barge, one with a transformer and the other with wire cable. The mine Yard Master will tell you where to leave the cars.
While you are out at the mine, load those three PON hoppers you will find next to the Laramee rotary tippler. Load them with Gilpin Ore. Back here spot them on the barge.
After returning your locomotive to the Depot you can sign off.

As well as being the locomotive crew and switcher, you are also the Yard Master, deciding where cars are placed in the yards. You are also the Load Master and you will have to load the hoppers manually. See my thread in the N3V Forum to see how this is done.
