Session 6 – Cab Forward

This session is for The Mann, Phrom, Laramee – Woodlands - Model Trainz Railroad. It is a model railroad session where you drive a brass model of the SP Cab Forward steam locomotive hauling brass freight cars.

You will need to download the Cab Forward from my Dropbox folder. The download link is

All the remaining content is either built-in or from the Download Station.

Chuck and Joe, I have just returned from the model shop with my brass Cab Forward. I have placed it on the barge.
To keep the weight down on the barge the tender is almost empty. You will need to add coal and water at the Loco Depot.
I would like you to take the Cab Forward out on a trial run from Laramee.
Over in the yard I have made up a consist of brass hoppers and flat cars. The trailing load is about 1,000 tons.
By my calculations you should be able, just, to climb up the steep grade out of Laramee in Cab / Advanced Mode.
When you return, spot the freight cars in the yard and the locomotive in the roundhouse.
