TRS19 - The Phootnote & Fourword Railroad - Session 4

Session 4 - Donkey Engines

In this session you drive an aging Alco RS3 to deliver replacement donkey engines to the Log Camp.

Chuck and Joe. The weather forecast is sunny with showers which means you might see some wonderful lighting effects.
Your Alco is being refuelled over at the Loco Depot. Do not be deceived by the appearance. It works extremely well.
After the Class 1 has cleared the Yard, pick up the two flat cars it has left behind.
Unload the rails and ties on the flats at the MoW Depot.
Load the flats with refurbished donkey engines at the Workshop. The Yard Master will show you where to load.
Deliver the donkey engines to the Log Camp, one to each Spar Tree. At a later stage you will recover the old donkey engines.
Re-load the flats with 40ft logstacks for delivery to the Dry Sort Yard. Re-load with dry sorted timber and deliver the timber to the Saw Mill.
Finally load the flats with lumber and spot them on the Ferry Barge.
The hoppers on the Ferry Barge are for loading with coal at the Kohl Mine. Spot the loaded hoppers back on the Ferry Barge.
You can combine both movements if you choose.

Logs should load and unload automatically at the Dry Sort Yard. The unload gantry is the one closest to the baseboard fascia.
All other loading and unloading will need to be performed by you in the role of Load Master, under the direction of the Yard Master.
