TRS19 - The Krashnburne Railroad - Model Trainz Layout

This model railroad layout is for TRS19.

The layout uses the new TRS19 track, all the textures are the new 3D PBR textures, most of the terrain is covered by TurfFX grasses and SpeedTrees are used.

The Krashnburne is reminiscent of ‘Smoke Stack USA’. The industries on the layout include a port, logging (log dump, dry sort yard, saw mill, flat pack furniture manufacturing), grains (silos, milling, bakery), truck re-manufacturing, a tube works, a scrap yard and a decaying manufacturing district.

Some of the industries are interdependent. For example, the furniture factory requires timber sourced from the saw mill, which requires logs from the dry sort yard, which in turn is feed from the log dump. Despite the small size of the layout there is much activity.

A Class 1 railroad drops off and picks up freight cars on the Transfer Track and a Ferry Barge provides a link to other railroads. The Ferry Barge can also be used as a model railroad staging / fiddle yard.

One feature which makes operations more challenging is the provision for AI trainz to transit the layout in both the clockwise and anticlockwise directions. To move from one of the main yards to another requires the Player to interact with the AI trainz on the single track sections between the yards.

Note. The track with concrete sleepers that lead into the Portals is for the exclusive use of the AI trainz.

All the required dependencies are on the Download Station but do use Manage Content to ensure that all the dependencies have been captured.
