BesideTheRiver 1a

BesideTheRiver is a fictitious route that portrays a regional railroad and a Class 1 railroad running beside a broad river used by ships and barges. The regional railroad, for player trains, and the Class 1 railroad, for AI trains, follow the river with graceful curves and grades. At several places, for example most of the numerous opening bridges used to cross the river, both railroads share the same alignment. The route is very scenic, fully signalled, has interactive industries, provides refuelling facilities for steam locomotives, and has lights for night time operation. All the assets needed for this route are on the Download Station. A read-me file explaining how to set up the AI trains and interactive industries is included. The route can be used as a free-standing route, or as a north-south module for use within a larger route, or as a module to link the top left part of my Austral Bay route with the bottom right of my Mad River Extended route.
