RS3 P&N 101 v2

Alco-GE RS-3 Road Switcher

Modeled for use in TrainZ by Mark Hoffman (gumbytrain).

The Piedmont & Northern Railway began converting from electric to diesel motive power in 1950, placing a 10-unit order with the American Locomotive Company. The first two units (Nos. 100 and 101) were delivered to the company's Greenville, South Carolina shops that fall with lettering and numbering only. This pack contains both units wearing the paint scheme they received in early 1951.

ALCO-GE RS-3 -- The P&N began converting from electric to diesel motive power in the fall of 1950. This pack contains units 100 and 101 as they were painted (early 1951) in the P&N's first diesel scheme. This is a reskin of Mark Hoffman's D&H RS-3. Big thanks to Mark for the use of his model.
