Switcher, SW7, Nauset Railway, Lighthouse

Nauset Railway Lighthouse (EMD SW7) Switcher (Rev 2) - 4th installment of the Nauset Railway Series rolling stock for Train Simulator, based on livery and logo created by the Nauset Railway Model Railroad Club of Orleans (Cape Cod), Massachusetts, USA. Matching freight cars are available on the Download Station. Of this series, the club only made the 40 ft boxcar as an HO and O gage model for sale as club cars, and it is only through the magic of this software we can envision what other versions may have looked like.

The logo is used by the club to depict an actual lighthouse, Nauset Light, of Eastham (Cape Cod), which is also modeled on the club layout. As of rev 2, the lighthouse boxcars are out of production from the club, but they are now producing yellow metal ice reefers with this Nauset Light logo.

For the Train Simulator fan, this series makes for a great short line or harbor freight, centered around a seaport, with a distinctive lighthouse.
