BYCX ALCO S2 #1
Primary motive power for the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad is this diesel switcher. They call it the BYCX no. 1. It's an ALCO S-2 built in 1941 for the LA Junction Railway. It makes 1000 horsepower. It was last painted yellow and worked for Columbia Grain in Portland, OR. The Group painted it the blue color you see here in the spring, 2002.
This is an Alco S2. This engine uses the McIntosh & Seymour 539 engine producing from 660 to 1000 H.P. Built in Schenectady, N.Y. Rides on alco Blunt trucks. Modeled for use in TrainZ by Mark Hoffman. Modified by n8phu.This model must be hosted on the DLS, do not host on other websites.TEH is excepted from this provision.
