Today, you are in charge of the Portland Rose, UP train nr. 17 from Denver, CO to Portland, OR up to Laramie, WY.
Your assigned power is the FEF-3 UP #844.
A landslide between west of Laramie severely disrupted traffic causing huge delays. Now the line has been cleared, but many eastbounds - much more than the usual number - are coming in the opposite direction.
You might meet freight trains, which normally should stop to meet you, in situations forcing you to stop in order to leave them continuing their travel east without further delay.
Obey speed limits: you will lose one point each second you exceed the allowed speed.
Obey signals: if you pass a signal at danger you will be immediately fired.
The session ends when you stop the train at Laramie depot on track 1.
Duration: 100 to 120 minutes.
