F&WVJR - St.Ives 22 - v1.1.1 (DLS) TRS22PE+ (Latest Version as of 8-02-2025)

St.Ives (Named after the St.Ives Cathedral which overlooks the station) is the headquarters of the Flockton & Westbridge Valley Joint Railway. This route covers the short suburban stretch into the central station, the large surrounding Goods Yard, Carriage Sheds, and Loco depot, and the section of line running to Thornton Juntion where the Flockton and Waterdawn lines split to their respective destinations. This route can be used to depict the area in the Age of Steam, from the station yard's construction in the 1920's, through to the Early BR Days of the 1950's.
The route features:
- 5 platform central station, loosely based on Perth, Western Australia in the steam age.
- 2 large carriage sidings, and a large goods yard facility,
- A large Locomotive depot with a Coal tower 80ft Turntable, and servicing facilities for locos
- 2 suburban stations, both 4 platforms, but only 1 (Thornton Junction) with a smaller Goods yard and a converted loco-depot into a Carriage servicing facility.
- 8 Portals for Standard Gauge Trains, and 1 for the NG
- Narrow Gauge 24in Terminus and loco sheds, with 2 stations, and a goods transfer point for slate/stone.

Demolished old station by-pass line replaced with canal
- Rebuilt the northern section of the mainline to improve operations
- Updated Goods Yard to include Coal shed, transfer sidings to the industrial branch, and re-worked goods yard engine sheds.
- NG/SG transfer yard has been re-located to the west of the mainline, with a section of points crossing the mainline.
- St.Ives Loco depot has been rebuilt to the steam-era aesthetic, with an 11 road engine shed resembling East Perth.
- The southern mainline to Thornton Junction has been completely rebuilt, Meltham Street has been replaced by a 2 platform station beyond the loco depot, and Thornton Junction has been re-located to the South-west as opposed to dead-west in V1.
- A proper Fiddle Yard has been built at the north end of the route to simulate the coming and going of trains between St.Ives and Ellesville.
- Beyond Thornton Junction is the (Seriously W.I.P) Suburban Mainline section from Thornton to Armadale as far as Gravel hill siding. However beyond DANGLISH, the scenery is still quite bare and yet to be filled out.
- St.Ives now has an Industrial Branch serving the Dairy, Flour Mill, Timber Yard, Foundry, Furniture Factory, Coal Fired Powerhouse & Gas works (Yet to be built)
- St.Ives and Thornton Junction Both are controlled by ITE Interlocking Towers, controlling the points around the mainline and station loops.These can be interchanged with non-ITE Signal Boxes if the system proves to be dodgy.
- Danglish's yard has also been re-worked and made smaller to match the amount of traffic the station would realistically see on a day-to-day basis. Goods trains only have one entrance crossover to the goods yard to stop the pesky AI drivers sending passenger trains into the goods yard. Careful planning when shunting is required.

CHANGELOG V1.1.1 (Current Version as of 8-2-2025)
- Upgraded Gravel Hill Sidings to include a Gravity-fed Colliery screen, limestone loader with stone sorting conveyor, and a short 1/4 mile branch serving the farm of which the Paddock Gravel Hill colliery resides on.
- Rebuilt the Northern Mainline junction out of St.Ives, now has a better design simplified for better use with the Signal Box Rule included with the PLL DLC.
- The Western end of St.Ives (Controlled by SIC) has been re-built including re-arranged carriage sheds, the junction guarding the station, and the water columns in the station yard. instead of an up-up-down-down mainline setup the trackwork now has 3-line Up-down-Independent main as per the Perth WA 1974 Signal Box track diagram. What was the through down-slow line with a junction between platforms 4-5 is now a headshunt, providing better access to the water columns for arriving locomotives.
- Signals along the route have been swapped from a mix of UQ and LSWR Signals to a mix of Chrisaw's NER and M&H Lower Quadrant Signals.
