F&WVJR G Class - Lined Blue 1908+
Number 16 was built by Beyer Peacock in 1897 for the Midland and South Western Junction Railway. It gained the nickname Galloping Alice because of its small driving wheels which would revolve at great speed. It was rebuilt by the GWR in 1924.
