Shelbourne

Shelbourne

This is a DEM based route covering the branch from Castlemaine through to Shelbourne via Maldon, located in central Victoria, that was operated by the Victorian Railways. The line opened to Maldon in 1884 and thence to Shelbourne in 1891. It was officially closed on December 3, 1976, although the section Castlemaine to Maldon is currently 'under restoration' courtesy of The Victorian Goldfeilds Railway.
