Australian Milking Shed - 5

This is a fictitious model of an Australian Milking Shed, based on plans for a shed incorporating a ''Herringbone'' arrangment to accomodate 24 stalls (12 on each side of the pit), that appeared in a 1958 edition of The Diarying Farmers Digest. The shed is intended to represent a medium scale (production) facility, making it suitable for farms up to about 500 cows and establishments later than the mid 1950s. To allow for multiple uses within any given route, this shed design is available in two differently clad versions, with minor 'mesh' alterations. This version of the asset is clad in 'freshly', Corrugated Iron on both the walls and roof, with 'weathered', dark green, painted' trim, representing a structure that is in the process of refurbishment. In order for this to be a truly 'operational' facility (if only in appearance), this asset should be suitably accompanied by one or two small holding pens with facilities for loading/unloading to/from road vehicles. This asset is intended for use in Trainz version TS2009 or later.
