ALCo DL-535 667 TBA

En 1995 llegaron las primeras locomotoras de este modelo (de un total de 18) adquiridas de segunda mano a la RENFE de España. Estas unidades fueron previamente reparadas en talleres ferroviarios españoles. Al llegar a la Argentina se les efectuó en los talleres de la empresa TBA el recambio de sus faros simples por faros dobles acorde a las normas de circulación nacionales. La empresa TBA, a la cual se asignaron las locomotoras, decidió encargar junto a las locomotoras GAIA los servicios suburbanos Victoria-Capilla del Señor, Villa Ballester-Zárate de la Línea Mitre y los servicios Merlo-Lobos, junto a los Coches motores Materfer y Moreno-Mercedes de la línea Sarmiento.
