Animal Texas Longhorn3

Christopher Columbus brought cattle with him on his second voyage to the Americas in 1493. These cattle are thought to have come from the south of Spain. The cattle quickly spred to all parts of the Americas. On these open ranges, nature selected for an animal that could calve without assistance, fend off predators of all shapes and sizes, and utilize less than optimal forage. This is the origin of the Texas Longhorn breed whose horns may spread as wide as 6-10 feet and they have one of the most diversified coat colors of all the cattle. This model is a large bull and has horns that spread 8 feet.
