Special passenger and passenger vehicle with cross-country capability with wheel arrangement 4 × 4. Excellent fit for off-road. In its arsenal are 2-speed transfer case, a plug-in front-wheel drive, a solid ground clearance and excellent geometric patency. In terms of its capabilities, it is still much more than modern SUVs. The production was started in 1965 under the UAZ-452 index, after updating in 1985 the model received the UAZ-3741 index
