FS E666 Blu Grigio

The E.666 group electric locomotive is a project developed by the Material and Traction Service of the State Railways around the end of the sixties as part of the renewal and modernization plans of the time. The project only reached the stage of creating the simulacrum for the in-line tests at the OGR in Foligno, but it was abandoned after a certain time and was no longer followed up, also due to the changed directional orientations and subsequently due to the development of new traction with E.633 locomotives
