An AI session for Halwill Junction - see if it's easy to handle busy Summer Saturday traffic!
(Note: engines used are those available free from DLS; to make the experience more authentic you may like to rewrite this session using payware T9, Class N and Class 700 engines.)
Many trains will separate into Bude and Padstow portion, then normally Padstow portion will depart - it's up to you to find suitable engines for Bude trains and despatch them. Up trains may be also combining portionsl, and normally Bude trains should be shunted from the platform before Padstow train can arrive. It is again your duty to do this and despatch the train towards Meldon Junction. Torrington line is used mainly for mixed trains, and one just waits to be combined...
It is possible (and indeed sometimes advisable) to send tender engines tender-first on the Bude branch. On all other lines tender engines must face the direction of travel. Note that Bulleid Light Pacific cannot be turned here as they are too long.
