SAR 750 class tender

After WW2, the SAR was facing a locomotive shortage. To help alleviate this, the SAR purchased 10 N class locomotives from the VR and reclassed them as the 750 class. The class consisted of locomotives 750-759. They were used to displace the Rx class locomotives on branch line services. 752 outlived the rest of the class, last operating in November 1964 and entering the Mile End Railway Museum on 14 April 1967. It was later transferred to the National Railway Museum, Port Adelaide with the rest of the MERM collection where it remains today.

Disclaimer: While this asset is trainz-build 3.7 (TRS12 SP1), it was tested in TRS22 and uses features which may not work or look the best in previous versions (including the native Automatic Running Numbers system introduced in TANE, and the m.tbumpenv textures designed to look best in TRS19 and up.)
