Reading Merkiomen Branch

The Reading Railroad's Merkiomen Branch is an 8' x 8' layout designed by Robert Mountenay in HO Scale. It is based off of Reading branch lines in eastern Pennsylvania in the 1950s. This little route can easily offer hours of fun switching or watching trains go round in circles. The line has tight curves and is best suited for shorter rolling stock. All assets should be on the Download Station. A typical operating session has you beginning your day in Reading (the staging yard). After working Moyers and doing a few laps, you reach the 'end of the line' at Lenape. You will switch any cars you need to here, run around your train, and return to Reading. Route created by Nick Ozorak.
