Montgomery & Cole Circa 1950

Montgomery & Cole is a fictional route based in the 1950's when turntables and roundhouses were in every engine servicing facility across the US. The design was based off of a route found in model railroader trackplans book , but it was modified so much that dosen't even resemble the original route. There are a few industry that can be shifted , there's a tank car/fueling facility , two freight houses and a feed supply facility. The Montgomery Station is always packed with passengers wanting to take a scenic ride up the hillside to enjoy the views or along the creek for a calming ride. Have fun with the route and enjoy. Also I have found that running small steam engines like 2-8-0's , 2-8-2's and 4-6-2;s along with 4 axles diesel locomotives works best with the somewhat tight radius curves.
