BR BLA Coil Carrier.
Some BBA wagons were modified to BLA types by the removal of the ends and decks, and the fitting of fabricated boxes for the carriage of coiled sheet metal. These boxes had cut-outs in the ends to enable the coils to be loaded and unloaded by overhead cranes.
