British Rail Class 91/1 - Ultimate Edition [TS12]

The legendary GEC Electra, more commonly known as the British Rail Class 91, is a class of mainline high speed lcoomotive built in 1988 by GEC with bodywork done by BREL. They are used in Britain's famous East Coast Main Line hauling up to 11 Mark 4 coaches.

As of July 2023, they are currently in use by LNER in it's gorgeous Intercity-inspired retro livery. It's past operators include: British Rail (Intercity), Great North Eastern Railways (GNER), National Express East Coast (NXEC), East Coast Trains, and Virgin Trains East Coast (VTEC). Europhoenix has also shown interest in permanently coupling the locomotive at it's blunt-end for use in export markets. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it's unclear what future these locos have at the hands of Europhoenix.

This project started out in mid-2021, where it was later left in a finished but untextured stage sometime in early 2022. In late June of 2023, the body was rebuilt due to the poor quality of the original model, however many of the other details that were originally present in the original model was ported over.

This is my effort to fill in the gap that is the modern day ECML rolling stock. I am aware of peterdhicks' Class 91, however it's not distributed via DLS which meant that multiplayer use is impossible. Not to mention that the original site that it was hosted on has now gone offline.

I am sorry if the model and the general texture work is shoddy. This is my 4th locoomotive that I've ever created for Trainz. I have done as best as I can with my old 2011 laptop. Please don't hesitate to contact me on Trainz forums or on other socials.
