La ligne 6 du métro de Paris est une des seize lignes du réseau métropolitain de Paris. Elle suit un parcours semi-circulaire au sud de la ville sur les anciens boulevards extérieurs, entre les stations Charles de Gaulle - Étoile à l'ouest et Nation à l'est.

Ouverte de 1900 à 1906 entre Étoile et Place d'Italie, elle porte d'abord l'indice 2 sud ou Circulaire sud avant d'être longtemps intégrée à la ligne 5, tandis que le tronçon de Place d'Italie à Nation ouvre en 1909 directement sous le nom de ligne 6. Elle forme, avec la ligne 2, un couple de lignes de rocade à l'intérieur de Paris.

Line 6 of the Paris metro is one of the sixteen lines of the Paris metropolitan network. It follows a semi-circular route in the south of the city along the former outer boulevards, between Charles de Gaulle - Étoile station to the west and Nation to the east.

Opened from 1900 to 1906 between Étoile and Place d'Italie, it was initially called 2 South or South Circular before being long integrated into line 5, while the section from Place d'Italie to Nation opened in 1909 directly under the name line 6. Together with line 2, it forms a pair of ring lines within Paris.
