D&RGW C-18 #315

Originally built by Baldwin in July 1895 as Florence & Cripple Creek's 3, the Elkton. In August 1917, she was sold to the Denver & Rio Grande and became their 425. After the 1924 renumbering and reclassification, she became 315, of class C-18. 315 served as Durango switcher for a number of years, and was retired to display in Durango in Febuary 1950. She is currently undergoing an operational restoration. Visit www.drhs315.org for details on 315's progress. This model shows 315 as she appeared in the late 1940s, as the Durango switcher.
