S&A 750 Tender Truck

Andrews truck for S&A 750 class tender. As built, the FEC 4-6-2 tenders sported either Fox or 2-axle Commonwealth trucks. By the late 1930s, the S&A had replaced these unusual trucks with Andrews U-Section trucks. Unusually, the replacement trucks were cushioned with coil springs instead of leaf springs. The use of coil springs on a tender suggests the trucks were taken from retired freight cars.
